Matt & Bridget hold international qualifications in equine science and business management, and have years’ worth of experience from within the equine breeding industry.
Their breeding program began with a clear vision: to select and develop horses that excel not only in conformation and presence (in the Halter ring) but also in versatility, structural correctness, and temperament. Harwin Arabians strives to produce horses that are strong, refined, and true to the Arabian type, while being well adapted to the unique conditions of Zimbabwe.

Type & Beauty
We strive for the classic Arabian silhouette — refined head, arching neck, elegant carriage, while maintaining substance and soundness.
Soundness & Movement
Conformation and correct movement are foundational. A beautiful head means little without a sound structure and fluid, balanced movement.
Temperament & Trainability
A horse may look spectacular, but without a good mind, the potential cannot be fully realised. We aim for horses that are responsive, curious and trainable.
Adaptability
Given our African environment, we breed horses that can thrive in a variety of conditions — for showing, pleasure, even endurance or light sport use.
Legacy & Improvement
Each generation should be an improvement on the last. We don’t breed just for immediate results, but for long-term improvement of the breed in Zimbabwe and beyond.
